Aptamil recognise that every baby is an individual, and this is why they continually innovate through research and development so that they can bring a range of products which offer something different, that could best suit you and your little one’s journey.
Aptamil Sensavia, in addition to containing our blend of GOS/FOS, brings innovation to their range through being based on partially hydrolysed milk proteins. This means the formulations contain milk proteins that have been broken into smaller pieces.
GOS/FOS are non-digestible carbohydrates that occur naturally in breastmilk and some fruits, grains and vegetables. They feed the beneficial bifidobacteria in the gut, encouraging their growth at the expense of potentially harmful bacteria. Bottlefed babies given a formula containing GOS/FOS also have softer stools than those fed a formula without GOS/FOS.
Aptamil 1 SENSAVIA First Infant Milk - For Babies 0-6 Months - Aptamil SENSAVIA First Infant Milk is a breastmilk substitute based on partially hydrolysed milk protein, where the milk protein has been broken down into smaller pieces. Suitable for babies who are combination or bottle-fed.
Aptamil 2 SENSAVIA Follow On Milk - For Babies 6-12 Months - Aptamil SENSAVIA Milk is a breastmilk substitute based on partially hydrolysed milk protein, where the milk protein has been broken down into smaller pieces. Suitable for babies who are combination or bottle-fed. Designed to form part of a mixed weaning diet, Aptamil SENSAVIA Follow On Milk is suitable for babies from 6 months and is fortified with extra iron and vitamin D to meet their nutritional needs. At around 6 months of age, a baby’s natural store of iron runs low and their need for iron increases. This is why Aptamil SENSAVIA Follow On milk has been formulated to provide higher levels of iron than first milks and cows’ milk.
Aptamil 3 SENSAVIA Growing Up Milk - For Toddlers 1-2 Years - Made from cows’ milk, Aptamil Growing Up milk 1-2 years is enriched with the key vitamins and minerals that are important for toddlers at this stage of development. 2 x 150ml servings a day provide around 50% of their daily requirements of iron, zinc and iodine, and 100% of their daily vitamin D.
